Consultations

Consultations & End-of-Life Planning

Just as we benefit from planning for our own futures, thoughtful planning for our beloved pets can bring great peace of mind. Planning ahead helps reduce stress, prevent difficult last-minute decisions, and minimize unnecessary trauma.

I offer in-home consultations (limited to Martin County residents) as well as virtual consultations. Every session is unscripted — I simply show up for you, listen, and follow your lead. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and confident that you are providing the very best care possible for your cherished companion.

Consultations can cover a wide variety of areas depending on where you are in your journey. Some topics we may explore together:

—Quality of life assessments and understanding what they mean
—Recognizing signs that it may be time to say goodbye
—Understanding the dying process and what to expect
—Euthanasia options — at home vs. clinic, what each involves
—Navigating a terminal illness or age-related decline
—Available resources and care options for your pet
—After-death care and natural home burial considerations
—Memorial and legacy ideas to honor your pet's life
